If you have walked a life of trauma and abuse, then you must also go through the process of what I call, "burning everything to the ground", ridding your mind of the false patterns of thinking that were instilled in you at childhood; it's what got you right into the heart of this mess to begin with. There may be a lot of crying, a lot of yelling, a lot of seething, a lot of hating, but then-- there's a break: The clouds part, the darkness lifts, and slowly, sometimes veeery slowly, out comes the sun. You have a breakthrough! And you realize for the first time, like a baby bird hatching and seeing the world with brand new eyes, YOU are going to see YOU for the very, very first time. The real you. The person you've always been; the person you just couldn't see because you were fed a bunch of untruthful garbage when you were an innocent, and you've just never had the opportunity to be shown the Truth. YOU feel weightless, for the first time in your entire life, and you slip into this "knowing", ha knowing so powerful that you realize it is your TRUTH, and that no one, ever, will be able to take that away from you. For you are awakened.
