Getting all these things into your life, just like you want them, all boil down to one thing, an it's something that SO few people take the time to actually nourish:
SELF-LOVE
True, we've all heard the saying, "You can't love someone else until you love yourself." Well, we all say we know it, but every time I ask a room full of women,
"When was the last time you did something NICE for yourself?
[insert GROAN]
SAID, something nice to yourself?
[insert LOUDER groan]
Why is it so difficult for women to be nice to themselves???!!! I'm guilty as charged, too, but the moment I added this one little tweak to my routine, I really saw a spark of magic happen! Things in my life began to shift! Little things that I'd been worrying about, magically went away or worked themself out!
It is one of my core beliefs, that you
cannot
&
will not
manifest the things you want in your life, if you do not get your self-love and self worth in check. It's Universal Law, people, I'm sorry to disappoint or annoy, but this was a looooong lesson for me to learn, for forty years, because I simply didn't know that
A) I had NO self-love & ZERO self worth
B) BOTH were essential for a healthy, happy life, nor did I know that
C) NOT having these things, would negatively impact
EVERY MAJOR DECISION
ASPECT OF MY LIFE
EVERY RELATIONSHIP IN MY LIFE
SO:
The moral of the story,
is that we shan't be having any more people engage in such personally criminal activities, shall we?!?!
We Shan't!!
Which means I'm going to share with you, this one,
SUPER EASY SECRET
TO ADDING MORE MAGIC &
LESS STRESS IN YOUR DAILY LIFE!!
Ok, here it is:
~Every night, before you fall asleep~
either when you're brushing your teeth,
or before mediation,
before your prayers,
or while you're doing the dishes after dinner ~
~You take two minutes to reflect on your day~
~And come up with ONE COMPLIMENT for yourself~
something you did well,
an accomplishment at work,
a smart choice for your diet,
a kind word when you coulda been a $#*@! ~
Whatever it is, you simply take the time to acknowledge it & smile to yourself, with a nod. And WAIT! There's just one more thing!
~You set ONE GOAL for yourself, for tomorrow~
it can be to do something better,
or to do nothing at all,
just as long as it's something to better your own life or someone else's
And that's it! So simple, yet all new, good habits can prove to be just as challenging as breaking old ones. So be gentle on yourself, and remember that you can do this, you deserve the act on honoring yourself, and I've always been a huge fan of introspective growth, but alas, you don't even have to set a goal, if you don't want to! I've just found that I can always use a push to be better in some area of my life. If you have other areas in your life, where you work on personal growth, then that's beautiful, too!
Remember, I always come from a place of love & support, and I enjoy sharing the little things in life that have made big impacts on mine. Because my #1 goal in my blog & social media posts, #1 goal on my website, and my #1 goal in my books, is to always try to give my readers & followers tools, to make life easier!!
My greatest regret in life, is that I didn't make it easier for myself, when so many had already made it so unbelievably hard. Granted, I had zero good role models and not a tool in my tool belt until my holistic education began in 2007 at 30 years old, but hey!
